Intergovernmental Cooperation

The goal is to promote intergovernmental cooperation and establish mechanisms that will facilitate interaction between, and within, different levels of government to create synergy. ECWRPC staff participates in joint planning efforts to maintain and strengthen relationships with local planning agencies throughout the region: counties, cities, villages, and towns. Staff efforts focus on establishing open and clear lines of communication with appropriate governmental bodies, committees, agencies and their personnel. They place an emphasis on ensuring that ECWRPC is represented on inter- and intra-governmental committee meetings.
