Unplug and Connect with Parks – Public Informational Meeting

The Village of Fox Crossing, with the support from the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, has begun to update their 5-year Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP), 2017-2021.

Beginning in June 2015, Fox Crossing, (then Town of Menasha) kicked off a 12 month planning process to complete and update the CORP. This process includes a comprehensive examination of the park and recreation facilities while identifying recommendations for improving the system and its services over the next five years and beyond.

In addition to, public input opportunities have been made available throughout the planning process and mechanisms for public involvement identified. One of those mechanisms was a survey of the parks and recreation facilities offered over the summer, the second is this open house to involve residents in the needs assessment, and finally the third will be a public hearing held prior to the formal adoption of the plan which is anticipated for the end of 2016.
