The East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (ECWRPC) is pleased to announce that our Draft 2015 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Annual Performance Report has been completed.
The Draft 2015 CEDS Annual Performance Report contains updated demographic and economic data as well as an updated regional project inventory list. The full draft document is found below:
Preparation of this plan ensures that the East Central Region maintains Economic Development District (EDD) status through the federal Economic Development Administration (EDA), allowing community and regional projects listed in the document to apply for funding through a variety of EDA programs. In addition, the CEDS provides a framework for regional economic development by presenting a series of goals, objectives and performance measures along with an analysis of socioeconomic trends, transportation access, regional geography and resources.
The Economic Development Standing Committee will meet and be requested to approve Proposed Resolution No. 23-15 on October 7, 2015. The full ECWRPC Commission will then be requested to approve Resolution No. 23-15 to adopt the Draft 2015 CEDS on October 30, 2015.
