RFP – Bicycle and Pedestrian Wayfinding Signage Plan

ECWRPC is issuing this “Request for Proposals” (RFP) to develop wayfinding signage guidelines for the region. The RFP is intended to explain the requirements and procedures for the submission of formal proposals from consultants who are interested in working with ECWRPC staff and local communities on designing wayfinding signage guidelines for on-road (including bike lanes, bike routes, and sharrows) and off-road (including paved and unpaved trails) bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.

The purpose of this wayfinding signage project is to work with ECWRPC and local communities to create cohesive signage for off -road trail facilities, bicycle lanes, bicycle routes, and sidewalk connections that is consistent across municipal boundaries.

The Consultant selected to do this work will contract with, and be responsible to, the Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the completion of the work described within the RFP. The deadline for the completion of this project will be October 31, 2017 (anticipated approval by Commission at October meeting).
